Information window
The information window contains the referenced information of a taxon, assigned to 4 pages,
taxonomy, biology, morphology, and distribution. A personal-note page can be added by the user to any of the taxon to keep track of literal information, references, images and distribution that the user may acquire from other sources.
Taxonomy page
All items are supported by one or more source references which is available when the user clicks on the item. Underlined items indicate addition information is available. On right clicking on 'Ntl_ldn_nnm' will bring up the address of the Leiden Museum. On right clicking on 'neotype' will show more detail about the neotype. On right clicking on any italized items will show the 'information window' of the named taxon.
Biology page
All items are supported by one or more source references which is available when the user clicks on the item. On right clicking on any italized items will show the 'information window' of the named taxon.
Morphology page
All images and items are supported by one or more source references which is available when the user clicks on the item. Underlined items indicate addition information is available on right click of the mouse.
Distribution page
All items are supported by one or more source references which is available when the user clicks on the item. Distribution maps of this taxon can be called up by clicking on the
icon.
Personal note page
Key phrases, to aid in searching, are in red. Underlined items are links to references or distribution data. For example, clicking on 'Pojar & Mackinnon 1994' will cause the complete reference to be called up. To click on 'Pacific northwest' will cause the distribution map to be shown.
